Timed tickets are required to enter our galleries for both the free collections and paid exhibitions. All visitors, including Members, need to book online in advance.
Follow the one-way routes
One-way routes and safe distancing guidelines are in place throughout the galleries. Prepare for a bit more walking than usual. Access information for each gallery will be published mid-July.
Pay with card
We only accept card or contactless payments in the gallery to minimise touchpoints.
There are also protective screens in place at all desks to make sure all payments are made safely.
Extra safety measures
Hand sanitiser is available in key areas, along with increased cleaning regimes in toilets and other high use areas.
Digital interactive screens have also been turned off to reduce touchpoints.

Tate Liverpool’s gallery offers large displays of work from the National Collection free of charge. The Collection features the work of artists including L.S. Lowry, Lynda Benglis, Nicholas Hlobo and Bridget Riley making Tate Liverpool the perfect place to visit your favourite artworks, as well as discovering something completely new.

Tate Liverpool holds frequent special events, like talks and workshops for you to exclusively delve into the exhibitions, as well as family activities, like creating your very own comics. Taking a break won’t be hard either, with magnificent views across the Albert Dock at the cafe.
